Some special software utilized by the ACE Center is available for download from this site. This page will link you to software manufacturers sites and you will be downloading from their pages. You will be responsible for any registrations or licensing that the manufacturer may require. Additionally, some of these downloads may take some time.
This software will be necessary to view the special VR Pictures inside your web browser. Make sure that during the easy installation process that you install the plugins for your browser. If you are running Netscape and Internet Explorer, you will have to install both plugins. This software is free in its basic format, however, you will be asked if you want to upgrade. Upgrade is not necessary to view VR Pictures.
This software is necessary to have an interactive session with other users of Netmeeting. You can share applications and send audio and video. This software is free, however, you may be asked to register.
Acrobat Reader is free software and is necessary to read the PDF files that are available on this and many other web sites. Acrobat 5.0 is loaded on all ACE Center Computers which can be used for creating PDF files. Creating PDF files is not possible with the reader.
